Overton County Cruise-In and Swap Meet
Car enthusiasts from Overton and surrounding counties kick off spring with the Overton County Cruise-In and Swap Meet. Held on the town square in Livingston at 4 p.m., the Cruise-in begins on the second Saturday of April and continues on the second Saturday of each month through October.

Jammin at Hippie Jack's
Twice a year, locals and visitors gather in Crawford, for some great music and wonderful art. The first event, Jammin at Hippie Jack's, is held on Memorial Day Weekend. The festival starts Friday with music beginning around noon and continuing through Sunday night. For the line-up or more information, visit www.myhippiejack.com.

Hogeye Fest
Join us at the Courthouse Square for a taste of summer at the annual Hogeye Fest. Held the second Saturday in June and sponsored by the Merchants Association, the event boasts a down-home, small town flavor, featuring a cook-off, music, crafts, ice cream contest, 5-K run and cruise-in.

Bluegrass Festival
Winningham Park hosts the annual Bluegrass Festival on the third Saturday in July. Traditionally, the instrument line-up features the mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and acoustic guitar, with vocals often providing beautiful soul-stirring harmonies. Whether the musicians are on stage or informally gathered under a tree with a small audience, the music – and festival - is something you won't want to miss!

Overton County Agricultural Fair
The highlight of the summer and largest event of the year is the annual Overton County Agricultural Fair held on the third week of July. The fair is more than 50 years old and has been voted an "A" Division Premier Fair. More than 250 booths highlight unique, handmade arts and crafts from local and regional artists. View quilts, pottery, baskets, jewelry, and an array of other goods. Livestock and farm fresh fruits and vegetables compete for ribbons and prizes.

Standing Stone Marble Festival and Rolley Hole Championships
Held at Standing Stone State Park annually on the second Saturday in September, the National Rolley Hole Marbles Championship and Festival finds the world's best marble players taking center stage in an event deemed the world's most challenging marble tournament. The event has been featured by a variety of national news channels and magazines. Live bluegrass music, marble making demonstrations, and marble fun for kids round out this fall event.

Rollercoaster Yard Sale

Christmas in the Country
Overton County kicks off the holiday season on the courthouse square at 5 p.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Featuring drawn carriage and wagon rides, music, popcorn, hot cider, peanuts and hot chocolate, Christmas in the Country is sure to get you in the spirit of the season. Stores stay open late, offering a chance to get a jump on shopping, and Santa is always there, working on his naughty and nice lists. Christmas in the Country continues through several Fridays after Thanksgiving. Elves' Holiday Workshop Held in the Rotary Agriculture Complex at the fairgrounds on the first Saturday in December, the Elves' Holiday Workshop features unique handmade gifts sure to please even the most finicky person on your holiday shopping list. From beauty products and decorations to household goods and homemade food, this event offers something for everyone, and all items sold are handmade.

Annual Christmas Parade
Join us on the courthouse square the second Saturday in December for the annual Overton County Christmas Parade. Entries include always-creative floats from our schools, industries and businesses, holiday music and,
of course, Santa Claus.
